Gubi 9464 Wall Lamp

Providing indirect light, the 9464 wall lamp is made from brass. Its bold, perforated shade creates a lighting statement, elevating the wall lamp into an art form.

Industrial designer Paavo Tynell was a pioneer of Finnish lighting design. At the forefront of the production of early electrical lighting fixtures in Finland, he collaborated with designer Alvar Aalto in the 1930’s. Tynell’s designs were derivative of a traditional aesthetic with a modern sensibility.
